CS8012 - EPON MDU SoC

The Cortina Systems® CS8012 EPON MDU System-on-a-Chip (SoC) (CS8012 EPON MDU SoC) is the industry's first integrated MDU silicon for the EPON deployment. The CS8012 EPON MDU SoC is a carrier class, aggregation switching device with EPON and Active Ethernet WAN uplink addressing all the MDU carrier deployment requirements for all major EPON markets. The CS8012 EPON MDU SoC is designed to perform all the packet processing, forwarding, Quality of Service (QoS) and subscriber management functions required for a Fiber MDU system in a single chip.

Applications
  • EPON MDU
  • Active Ethernet MDU
  • Carrier Ethernet Aggregation Switch
  • Remote DSLAM
  • Mobile Wireless Access Nodes
