CS2333 - OC 48/12 Quad Integrated MAC/Framer CS2333 is a quad OC-48c SONET framer with integrated 802.17 RPR MACs, with full support for POS, GFP, and ATM formats. The RPR MACs are fully-compliant with 802.17, and offer all the advantages of RPR, including spatial reuse, 50ms restoration time, service class guarantees, and fairness calculations. Roma supplies direct connections to either OC-48, OC-12, or GE optics via integrated serdes, minimizing board space and component count. Targeted at bringing RPR support to routing platforms, Roma is the industry's leading quad OC-48 solution.
