CS133x - OC 48/12/3 Framer and Gigabit Ethernet MAC

CS133x family is a SONET framer and Gigabit Ethernet MAC. Depending on the part, each of its port individually supports OC-48, OC-12 and OC-3 in addition to GE. Multiple mapping options are supported; POS, GFP and ATM. On the line side, CS133x connects serially directly to SFP optical modules and on the system side it provides a pin-shared SPI4.2 / SPI-3 interface. Targeted at routers and switch uplinks, CS133x is a high-density flexible front end which allows a single development for wide range of port types and rates.
